Hi,

I am finishing my first model (well, the final version will not be much better as I am poor painter) and I'm curious what do you think about such colo scheme.

- edit -

Your advices worked, they do not look that bad as before. Sorry for bad pictures, but need to find my camera and stop using phone for that.

I think it looks pretty cool. When I paint, no matter what colors I use, I try to use a lot of bright colors in contrast to dark, which IMHO makes it look more interesting than just dark or camo schemes.

For me clean paintjob is more important than even the most advanced technique. If you are not so confident in your skill I would rather stop now because it looks good. Your skill will improve and you can always go back and add some highlights, shadows, dirt, rust, etc.

The colour scheme looks good. A friend of mine painted them similarly. What doesnt look that great is the yellow star on white background.

Nice and clean, I like it! :) Should not the bauhaus symbol be slightly more orange though? :)

Thank you for the feedback. Unfortunately I find the white color very difficult to paint smooth. After painting 2 hussars I think i must change paint or invest in some spray paint.

Just water it down a bit and paint 3 coats. It will look smooth.

Or get an airbrush.

Also watering down means thinning don't actually it water down, it ruins the paint.

Use grey as a first coat. Then white.
