Is anyone up for each faction having an allied one that can help out on the same army, maybe in different squads? Some kind of friction surely can be present. I mean, Mishima could perhaps even have it with the Dark Legion considering their feud with the Brotherhood.
It was a long time since i played Doomtrooper but Imperial and Capitals at least sounds somewhat compatible.

Allied rules sounds good. But no more as the standards (Hussars, undead legionaires, etc.).

Yes, although this way one of the main uses for the Tribes of Dark Eden.

We played (and will play) in all versions of Warzone 4 player games. In general played two player in one team against the other 2 player team. Each player fields a different fraction.
The scenarios included always fluff why for example Imperial allied with Capitol fight against Bauhaus and Mishima etc.

In the special case of DL it is easy. A corrupt heretic army joints the battle etc.
In the same way it works very similar with Brotherhood and Cartel and any scenarios against DL.
There are only some counterparts who never work together. DL a Brotherhood. Brotherhood and Cybertronic. Cybertronic and Imperial (only under force of the Cartel).
There are a lot of logical (temporary) alliances. Especially Bauhaus and Imperial can follow a call of the Brotherhood to fight.
The Cartel can call any Mega Corp to join an alliance to force some fraction back into the Cartel rules etc.

In my opinion this aspect is more a part of scenarios or even a campaign then real hard rules and game mechanics.
