I have been given the warzone demo set for Spirit Games to paint up for the shop it includes Alakhai and he appears to require a 40mm base rules wise, which was supplied. However he seems far to big for one would it make any difference if I put him on a 50mm one. he would probably have fitted but he is in a dynamic pose and his feet are far enough apart that the only way I can get bot on the base is to attach them to the lip

feed back appreciated I will put him aside for the moment and press on with the rest

It would make a difference with a number of rules if it were a 80mm base, such as with CC special actions. In non tournament, friendly games, I doubt anyone would notice and few would care.

If you are using him for demos, my suggestion is to stick to the correct size base.

The pictures for Alakhai the Cunning (I assume you mean him) in the Prodos store doesn't even show the base as the model had to be put on cork to make it "fit".

This was actually a very common problem with a lot of early models.

I noticed that when I was trying to work out what to do with it however I managed a work round and now he looks like he is bearing down on a smaller target mid sword swing. Glad the model was resin though I wouldent have liked to try that on a metal one

thank you
