Wow that is a Little Bit to mutch ,at this Point their is no reason to add more Res to the Deck .With so many Res in Play at the beginning of the First Turn Card Death is possible

Another Think i dont like

resource cards.

Cannot use resources Card the complete game is like a Auto lose at my opinion .What Lvl Hero Lvl are the Hero`s in the Beta Rules 1.1?

@Durandal
Sure i would not Play with more Res Cards in the Deck when i start with 8 , but this makes the Option to add more Res Cards to your deck Useless and takes some strategic depths of the Game .

Ok I am confused, it says in on page 8 in sec7 that you can have an unlimited number of resource cards, but for the beta deck building on page 21 it leaves that part off. So when beta testing we should not add any resource cards to the deck, is this correct?

It depends if you are playing with Basic Rules or Advanced Rules . The Option to add more Res is a Advanced Rule . But to be honest i would not add more Res Cards to the Deck ,especially if you playing only 35 Cards .

I think that bit is a typo because from section 1 you have:

Quote:
- Card deck: minimum 35 cards including Strategy, Tactical and Gear cards.
- Maximium five cards in hand.
- You may draw up to one card every turn.
- Only one strategy card can be in play per turn.
- Only one tactical card can be in play per squad.
- Only three gear cards can be in play per player.
- The number of resource cards you start with is dependent on your hero choice. For example: Alakhai is a close combat hero, so starts with seven resource cards, whereas Dr. Diana is a tech hero, so starts with 8.

Which contains no reference to being able to put resource cards in your deck.

And in the beta section it says:

Quote:
You start game with 7 Resources Cards in play.
The minimum number of cards in your deck is 35.
You can have a maximum of 3 same Strategy Cards in your deck
You can have a maximum of 5 same Tactical Cards in your deck.
You can have a maximum of 3 same Gear Cards in your deck.

Which implies the same.

Only section 7 still has a reference to resource cards in the deck.

Considering the lowered minimum deck size and two of the three reference sections not mentioning resource cards in the deck, alongside a larger starting amount of resources. I believe the new intention is that the amount of resource cards is a static amount now and it doesn't change over the course of the game.

Note that there is no longer reference to playing one at the start of the turn either.

I am about 99% sure that section 7 is a copy/paste error from the last version and that Resource Cards are no longer put in the deck at all but are simply used as counters and determined by character type when the game starts. Hopefully someone at Prodos can verify though.

yeah we had some nasty goblin messing around in the rules, It will be correct today :)

There it no more Resource cards in deck (advanced rules), you start with X number of resources cards for both Basic and Advanced rules, where X is dependant on type of Hero you play with.

I'm still a bit confused by page 13:

Quote:
...You may choose not to activate a unit or models from a unit if you wish.
...
...Every unit must be activated per turn.

So I may choose not to activate a unit, but I must activate it? :)

Excellent, I'll be interested to see how this works. Should make opening moves a lot bolder.

Yes you declare that you active a unit but performs no actions.

Someone can explain me why CC weapons are the trait piercing? Blast or rail shoudn't be better?
