Post subject:  Purple Shark questions ...

Hi all,

My friends and I have just started playing Warzone Resurrection and we have a few questions about the automated grenade system of the Purple Shark unit. If anyone is able to provide some insights on the below questions, it would be greatly appreciated:

1. When making an 'Automated Bombardment' attack do you still have to roll to hit, or are the attacks considered autohits?
2. If you do have to roll to hit, how far do the 'Fragmentation Grenades' scatter for a failed roll?
3. If you do have to roll to hit, can you aim the 'Anti-Tank Grenades' since they technically aren't 'template' weapons?
4. If you do have to roll to hit, do the 'Anti-Tank Grenades' scatter for a failed roll?
4. Can you drop three grenades on the same target?

From what I can tell:

1. you would have to roll to hit, there is no mention of it autohitting
2. D20/4 is the standard scatter distance for (G) weapons. rulebook pdf pg 49
3.I don't see why not, although since you have to use a fast move to use automated bombardment you would need to TTB to gain a 4th action so you could aim, and you would only get the bonus if the anti-tank grenade is the first grenade used.
4. No only weapons that are (G) type, have a Explosion template or specifically state that they scatter scatter.
5. I assume so. But I could see it going either way.

3. Vehicles can't TTB to get an extra action (p. 43), so no, unless you have some other way of getting an extra action.
