So I was reading the background fiction from the rulebook and came across a mention of this faction. Is it fair to speculate that White Star is a reboot of the old Sons of Rasputin? I'm guessing this is likely as enough mention was made that the left behind of Russia retreated to the bunkers (Metro?), and may retained a level of technology consistent with the MegaCorporations.

Also given the message the Corporations received about "the Motherland being denied" seems a strong possibility.

So far few is known about WS. They supposed to be what was left of Russian Federation with some Chinese influences too. Sons of Rasputin are WS offshot. More will be said in upcoming MC RPG. WS wil get their own book there.
