Hi! -- First post here, but I figured this would be the perfect place to start. Since there are no Imperials about yet, I had a major dilemma. I knew I was going to initially pick up two Factions, but could not decide which two now that I will have to wait a little while longer to roll out the Brits.

A lot of debate went on. I even showed the factions to my wife (She chose Cybertronic) before finally settling on Capitol and Dark Legion. I am initially picking up:

Capitol Starter Box
2x Martian Banshees
2x Free Marines.
1x Captain Thomas
1x Airborne upgrade
1x Light troops

Dark Legion Starter Box
1x CC Stalkers
1x Ranged Stalkers
2x Ncromutant squads
1x Necromutant Leaders
--- I thought I picked up one more thing for the Legion, but I guess not

Rulebook
Limited edition Imperial Model to act as a squad leader or something until the Imperial release.
Templates

I eventually intend to own every single model in the range. After I round out a solid force of Dark Legion and Capitols, I will move on to Cybertronic and Bauhaus. After that, Mishima and Brotherhood. By then, I assume Imps will be good and out, and maybe a new force of Dark Legion. Man.... I know where all of my gaming money will be going toward over the next couple of years.

Went with Cybertronic (for me) and Dark Legion (girlfriend). In the end we chose:

We're hoping those add ons are balanced as we've now got enough squad leaders to split the troops in the starters into two squads and have a leader for each plus one extra unit in the form of the Machinators/Necromutant squad.

Plus I've ordered Golgotha as one of her anniversary presents which she doesn't know about .

I got pretty much one of everything on the menu... barring most of the big vehicles. I did get an Eradicator, though... it was one of the original minis I bought in 1st ed, so I couldn't go past it now!

Being one of only two people I know of in my town to get in on the KS, I figure that I need a sample of each of the factions in order to show off the game to fullest potential (and hopefully snare some other players!)

That is my intention, too. I am holding off on buying more for a bit. Gotta get the heat off my back (is: the wife has an eye on me!) Come the end of July or so, I will likely try and pick up a third faction.

With this I just need to add Captain Henry Thomas and Airborne Cavalry + light Infantry squad and my base Capitol army is done. Probably going to steadily order new units every month after this until I filled every unit in the army...
