The 532nd “Peacekeepers” were created after the Sad Struggle. Their purpose was quite simple their presence was to prevent inter-clan strife and bloodshed whenever possible. Deployed to watch over clan issues where violence was a possible outcome, the Peacekeepers maintained a spirit of neutrality and their arrival at clan meetings and negotiations ensured peaceful outcomes that benefited Imperial as a whole.
Within the ranks of the Peacekeepers a very strict set of guidelines is followed when organizing squads and platoons. The first commandment states that no squad can have more than one member from any single clan, no platoon can have any more than one squad leader from any one clan and no commander shall have any members of his own clan under his command.
When a question of clan loyalty arises and poses a risk of compromising a mission the Peacekeepers are able to withdraw members of the clans involved reducing at most their strength by 20%. But loyalty to the 532nd is strong and is reinforced by the second peacekeeper commandment.
The second commandment states that before deploying in force in the role of peacekeepers amongst the clans, a platoon must spend several years in action together away from Imperial lands. This creates a brotherhood amongst the members of the 532nd that only men who have been through war can have. They know the men to the right and left of them would risk their lives for them and probably have and vice versa. They have survived the hell of fighting rival mega-corporations and the Dark Legion and have formed a bond almost as enduring to their lives as their clan of birth. A loyalty strong enough to fulfill their duty to ensure the safety of their Brother-Soldiers even if that means enforcing regulations on their family clans.

Thanks.
My plan is pretty simple for my army.
1 to 2 squads of Blood Berets (not official Peackeepers, but assisting them fight the Dark Legion). 1 to 2 squads of Trenchers at least 2 squads of Regulars Hurricane Walker Vermin APC Hopefully with some support from Storm-Trenchers.

The ideas and structure of the 532, are appealing both as a modeling and game medium. As a game asset I for one would like to see them made into a future literature. They could become what the original Cartel wished for the Doomtroopers. MC has spanned many thousand of years (game wise), and history becomes very blured when no computer records exist from the dark days of Nero. It is the winners of the event who write the story of man, the Brotherhood, and Corps. Earth was dead, Eden was said to be corrupt. Here the 532 could take the moral ground . Remember though, absolute power corrupts the Corps, Cartel, even the Brotherhood has been seduced at some time by the Dark Legion. We live and game in a dangerous world. Praise the Cardinal, but pass me a Gehenna Puker.
