I usually field two squads of handler and 5 dogs. Thanks.to the investigator dog you have potentially 16" range of engage move. Ofcourse you don't have bonus from engage but ROA3 with 14 str is enough to kill some models.
My opponents usually put great amount of firepower on them. At the same.time the rest of the army is killing exposed enemy.

Haven't had an opportunity to test them, but on paper they look fantastic - fast movement, with investigator dog the ability to engage from behind a LOS blocker and pretty sweet amount of attacks and St value make them great table control and melee deterrent units - noone wants to get close to them and they're dirt cheap, which brings us to the next great thing...
... the point cost! At 40pts base, you can easily use that unit as a point filler should you find yourself with not enough points to add another good unit, adding flexibility and diversity to your army.
Will give some feedback when I finally get to test them!

I have two sets and tried out 1 unit with 2 attack 1 investigator dogs and was really impressed with them.
I placed them on the flank and engaged a brotherhood unit. 9 Str 14 attacks plus covering fire from the Ranger really messed it up. However, they don't seem as good at taking it so I think 5 dogs is the way to go so you have a better chance killing an entire unit.
