Congratulations Capitol those are probably the best looking basic infantry unit they've done so far.

OMG! I peed a little! Those are so freakin' awesome! Darn it! I have to up my pledge yet again! Nice blend of classic and modern/streamlined on the armor, and love to see the classic Capitol AR. The helmets look boss too. Can't wait!

The only thing I would change is to make the knee pads symmetrical; doesn't seem to be any reason (fluff or armor-wise) for a different pad on each knee; even in the kneeling firing position. Of course, someone please correct me if I'm wrong; I was never in the military.

Honestly they are amazing. Really!!! Great job Prodos, I love them
I am glad I chose Capitol.
Some questions... Aren't the ammo clips a bit too small?

Are these light infantry or heavy?

Prodos, are you planning on dividing the infantry like in the 1st and 2nd editions (light/heavy) or just leave it as one type.

Can we have the Capitol eagle curved on the shoulder pads like the Venusian Rangers but in the front (classic Capitol layout)? Or they are not there on purpose to maybe be used as proxies for other games?

Well I couldn`t stop drooling over them and that's both good and bad for a man of my age. Everything that you have produced for MC you have given so much more style and finish but these, they are so real. I`m also uncertain about the different knee pads being the same on all figures. However I`m so pleased with the weapons (hollow butt`s) and their equipment and its storage. Some one thought "hard and long" to see these right. "We Salute You" for a job well done.

After my initial excitement died down, I remembered what I didn't like about painting 2nd ed. Capitol Infantry vs. 1st ed.: all of the pouches! Still looks pretty sexy, but I'm half dreading painting all those pouches. At least the units are smaller.

Doompup, just go modern military and make em the same color as the rest of the gear. It will make painting them less of a chore, if no additional colors are needed.

I, on the other-hand love models covered in gear and will use those pouches to add an interesting contrast color to my Capital forces!

I hope the pouches are separate. Althought I really like the look of fully geared soldiers (they look properly bad ass), I want to use less poches to stay within the certain style of all forces. Just look at Bauhaus or Brotherhood basic infantry, where do they carry their extra ammo? hmmmm inside their armor? or maybe they do not carry extra clips at all? just Capitol go to battle well equipped? In terms of equipment, Bauhaus soldiers look like poor militia next to these guys. I hope every army will have pouches and extra gear to equip their troops.

Seven, have you considered that the other faction's infantry will come with extra baggage as spare parts?
