I think renaming it to Grey Shark would solve the background issues.

Or the crisis hit Capitol as well and they cut down the Purple Shark personnel to 50% of its original force size. The extra seats were removed to reduce the weight and thus fuel costs...

I like your style Catinator, and soundly agree that as a Great Grey I think its magnificent, but as a shark I wanted it to be more of an aerial predator.

I am also concerned about sharks' hovering ability. They were hovers in previous editions, I hope they would stay that way, even though they do not look anything like they could hover (massive rocket engines), but so did not 1st ed. sharks :P

Hi Seven, I assume you mean Hover? A hoover is a vacuum cleaner here in the UK!

I was imagining the Purple Shark Vaccuming up people!!!

I think the Purple sharks will be able to stay stationary, just for ease of gaming. I imagine them whizzing around, doing mini strafing runs though...

During the 2nd there were (inoffical???) a flyer which had to move during each turn to simulate that the flyer couldn't hover.

It would be better if it can hover but there are different solutions.

haha yes of course, edited. Sorry that you had to imagine flying vacuum cleaners, trying to figure out what I meant haha Not being a native speaker, I should run a spell check before posting.

Who knows, maybe we will see a render of a deadly flying vacuum cleaner to suck DL out of their citadels... :D the missing Capitol's heavy? ..I hope not :S

Looking again at purple sharks I noticed that the pilots are standard Capitol troopers. Although I don't mind that much as they seem to have some armor on them, I really think it is strange that they are just packed with ammo pouches with extra clips. They're pilots so they don't need 20 ammo clips on them while piloting the rocket. It looks rather funny. Can we have that fixed?

Hi Seven I think its more to do with all pilots are armed in case of "shot down". I imagine an assault rifle would be in storage. I`d kind of like to keep them.
Cheers mate.

ALL HAS BEEN EXPLAINED. I think most of you guys know on an intuitive level that Prodos is trying really hard and doing a
good job of modernising the concepts and making believable units that you just have to buy.
