Post subject:  Capitol forces now? hat do you do with out airborne shotguns

Now that the updated army list has removed air dropped shotguns, what are you using in your army now? How are handling the changes to enhanced doctrines?

I'm looking at creating a list using the assault battalion tactics. I think it's great that different units can pick an ability, bring a bit more of a Swiss army knife approach to your units.

Just wondering how other people are adapting their lists and tactics.

I never relied on that all the time. Just brought it on occasion. The new flechette grenades are way better, you just have to get your guys up close enough to use then, which, there jut happens to be a doctrine to help with that, you get a free basic move before the game starts. You can still drop airborne in the back fiend and launch frag grenades from the M50s.

Im loving the new abilities. It does make the whole army more flexible. I like to that I can apparently take more than one on a squad.

I think the new fl├Ęchette grenades are bollocks and should be replaced by marshmallows on a stick, or slightly over ripe bananas.
