I really like the look of the new Machinators - they look more Cybertronic to me.

Count my vote in for the old style weaponry! They were great, high-tech looking, iconic I would say.

I would recommend to check out the old books and render the weapons based on them. The current ones are too far off.

I would keep the swords and bucklers as an option for the Machinators.

The main problem I see with the old Cybertronic weapons is the pistol grip set up, plus the fact many have a forward one as well. It would make multi-part models much harder to make and would make proper fits more difficult as well. Not saying it could not be done, but it would be a crap ton harder to pull off.

You do got a point but it mustn't be that much harder. You could always fix the hands to the gun like GW's cadians, sure the "poseability" would be reduced but they could always do guns without fixed hands as well. I'd rather have a cool design and wouldn't mind if that limited me to a handful of really good poses than a bland design that gives me bland looking miniatures just so I can do a whole lot of crazy poses.

I second that - I`m pretty sure a solution could be found to faithfully recreate the Cybertronic weaponry - and reading the forums I think it would be a great selling point...

Just my 2 cents

Greetings,

And you shouldn't need to worry too much over one handed Rifle posed - enhanced mechanical strength is your friend ;)
