|Barracudas - how about them now?

Last edition when they introduced the wolfbanes they also introduced a new "vehicle" called Barracudas. To put it simply they were trash....just complete utter trash. Expensive, explosive, only moderate damage, and squishy. Only thing they had going for them was a M10 stat which is kinda insane if you think about it lol.
in 1.2, though, they got a bunch of buffs.
1) INVUL! They are now 14(10) for armor instead of 12. This is HUGE since Armor12 is pretty bad to begin with, while 14 is decent. Better yet now its backed by an invul. Win!
2) Rockets have AVV 4. They used to be 1, and the double-barreled rule didnt buff it (now its AVV5 if you use double-barrel). While AVV4/5 isnt crazy good, its good enough to do some damage and Imperials seem to be loaded with that value, while other armies lack more than 1/2 values with a random 6+ thrown in.
3) Shooting Stars seem to have the second bit of the paragraph cut off about exploding on the spot if they die due to terrain damage. Bit of a double-edged sword change but it could potentially mean it scatters into the enemy now....or...back into my face lol.
Theyre not that expensive either, 3 for 120pts (40pts each) and now that they have an Invul its actually not a bad buy now. Their gun isnt the best but its still shooting two SE blasts while wizzing across the board at M10.
I kinda wanna give them a shot now. Course theres no model yet so it'd just be proxy

I can't wait to see what Prodos does with the model. The original was a classically bad mini, but it was fun to play. The new rules really capture the feel of a suicide unit.
