Why do people only mention the Golden Lions and Blood Berets? There were quite a few different Beret SF guys with very different abilities. Hunters were specialists on Venus I think, Stirlings who were a defensive force, Shamrocks(dont remember their speciality), there was a unit that had black armor and functioned as space craft borne marines who specialized in boarding actions and had SMGs(I think). Golden Lions were one of the more boring beret units and I never used them.

Some precisions about imperial special forces.

The blood beret: even if they get finacial link with the Murdoch clan they fight for the whole corporation.

The Golden lions: from the Murdoch clan (?) they get recently acquire skills against Cybertronics.

The Hunters: from the Durnsirn clan. They get sniper gun to hunt down valuable learders.

The Stirlings: from -/axelthorpe clans (i forget the first) they are skilled to protect banks and money transport.

The Shamrocks: from Murray clan (motto: our luck never runs out) they get a immunity for 1 turn against break morale check otherwise no particulars skills.

The Black berets: i forget the clan (Is it not Morgan?). As you said their speciality is boarding assault even in 0 grav.

Imperial have many many clans' special forces and that is good.

Since we are getting a whole book I suppose, hopefully we will see all of them. It will get boring with just trenchers, blood berets, and blah golden lions plus the crazy dudes riding rockets and Hurricane walkers.

Do you speak about the Ram air cav?

Totally agree but imo the first step from now is the release.

We have to wait and see.

Yeah I think Morgan is right for black berets, as for entire book I suspect Imperial will share a book with Ilian.

Ideas about the units:

RAMs: The Loughton clan is big in vehicles and mining. I imagine the Rams as a similar unit like the heavy infantry of capitol. Some steam or diesel driven combat suits would fit.

The Shamrocks: a lot of possible rules to bend the luck and to avoid the bad luck are possible. Something like burn a card to reroll a dice... The Shamrocks need some blade masters with claymores.

Oh. I have to go. Will continue...

Your claymore dudes would fall into the silly highlanders guys' hands. The various beret guys are all from more "civilized" areas of Imperial society and are more hi tech and modern as opposed to the backwoods guys.(to be honest I never had enough interest in them to ever even read their background and I had a huge imperial army without using them)

I like both versions of imperial, I'm as I've said earlier hopeful that by making some units that has one foot in each camp the facets of imperial can be more closely woven together.

Like many others the Wolfbane clans are a definite must see, and can't wait for new models for them to be released. RAMS Air Cavalry would be great to see again as well - adds something different into the Imperial mix.

I want to see the Bauhaus Butcher Main Battle tank mini released.

There are also a few unique named Heroes that have not been produced yet. They could release them as well.
