Lava on dragons - ok option but it will cost You 2 cards to cast it and to get +1AP not to stay behind the second dragon.

What kind of Ki power do you usually give to dragons, if i can ask?

None. In most cases. In bigger games (when You have 3-5 dragons - Path of the rat). 1.5 killed ranged Ki. You can not run+cast any longer.
You can give them Ranger Ki when You have +1MV strategy in mind and when You want to use engage+CC+flamer trick.
I generally stopped using Ki. They cost a lot, You need RC AND You need to pass a WP test. We all know Mishima is not BH. Only Dragons have cool WP value.
