Hi Guys
I struggle very often to get any use out of my Ronins. So i have a few questions about them.
- How many squads do you play at 1000p ?
- Whats the best squad size
- And how the hell do you get them into CC without loosing too many on the way there
Because i find it hard to get them into cc i normally try to play them with Lava in a shooty way.
greetings Voddster

Well, honestly they tend to become cannon fodder in the majority of matches... but thanks to "The River flow" skill IF they can use covers they can reach enemies sometimes.
You can use squads of 7/8 ronins: most of them will die but someone will arrive in B2B with the enemy and can cause some casualties. Some ki Powers (Path of Rat and Petal of Lotus for istance) can be useful but are quite expensive.
At the moment I simply prefer to use 3x5 ronins for 1000 pts just to give cover to units that can hit harder.

If You want RC only use 5. Two, three units of 5 maximum. If You want them in combat, use units of 7-9. How You get them into cc? River skill + banzai charge. 18" +1" ccrw.
With speed of a horse no engage and Los is needed to get into cc and fight.
