Known as the manta of the skies, a huge winged creature with a head like a lamprey. Swooping down on it`s prey with an eerie screetch, taking them up into the sky where it's final act is to bite on it's prey's head and suck out their brain. These amazingly strong resilient creatures are extremely difficult to kill. They can be seen in swarms flying around the great citadels. No record of these creatures ever existed before the coming of the Dark Legion, and sadly they plague even the Venutian cities by night. Scientists, reasearchers and philosiphers are under the assumption that they have been brought from another world by the Darkness. Centurians and other creatures of the dark have been seen riding on their backs. If they could ever be controlled, what a mount they would be. So Prodos are these the magnificient creatures pictured with a brain controller in the Mashima rules PDF? If so, you have a magnificient winner with three or more sale options. Cheers.

considering that they don't match the description I seriously doubt it they by no means have the head of a lamprey nor would the moniker "Manta of the skies" fit because they aren't manta like.

if that IS what they are supposed to be they've been re envisioned to the point of being unrecognizable (at least from your description) however I have heard that there is a long history of inconsistencies in mutant chronicles and creatures like this may have been used to represent the creature you described in the past if this is the case I would hope that should prodoss chose to represent your Hell Bat they would either change the fluff to be accurate to the model or the model to be accurate to the fluff

To me they look like Crimson Devils mounted on some kind of saurian ravener. :)

I was quite pleased with the fluff for these.

I will add, these are not Hinko Dragonriders. :)

If we really, really need [c'mon why?] these pseudo dragon things then at least you could make them look like they would be possible for real life animals. Now they are flying creatures with rear part of swimming beast.
