None of them have any options for heavy weapons or other special weapons.

Mishima overall have little options in heavy firepower, cause they are extremly focused on close combat.

Only thing that really stands out at this is the meka, but even it is far more striking in melee.

Crimson Devils can upgrade 1 in 5 to a Dragonfire HMG. Tiger Dragons can upgrade 1 in 3 to have one. The Demonhunter comes standard with one.

Yes, but only support troops have the possibility to get "heavy" weapons. None of them with high AVV though (2 is max i think).

But there are some KI-Powers to compensate that.

In all editions Samurai had access to heavy weapons so it is weird that they lack this in WZR. Maybe in full army book?

Don´t think so, the background is extremly straight in terms of using ranged weapons in a mishima force. They are extremly melee heavy.

But i think it´s ok and cool that the factions are that different.

I would prefer armies to be closer to old rpg fluff which means they were even more unique. For example Mishima was exclusive owner of piloted walkers, now everyone has them.

Give it time fellas, Prodos has left room for expansion. Remember we are just at the beginning of WZR. Options will come in time!
