Hi,
i'm going to paint my first trenchers (about 15-20) in the next couple of days and thous i'm more the playing and less the painting type, i'll give speed painting a try. ;)

Color scheme will be dark brown, dark green and metal for the weapons, helmet, gas mask and shoulder pads.

Has everyone done that before, so does everyone does have any experience with it? I'm grateful for any hints and tips (or pictures)! :)

I'm thinking of using a green or brown primer (instead of black), and dry brush nearly everything else afterwards. Does that make sense to you guys or are there any other/easier/better ways to it?

For the bases i want to have a real muddy look, how to i create that?

Thanks in advance!

I suggest to use washes/inks too: they will create shadows on models and give better results.
