Hi all!!

Well after seeing cybermonkey's great painting I thought I had better jump onboard and show my own WIP pics.

Not normally my thing, I show my mates and gaming club, so this is a first!!

Enjoy and please don't be too harsh BUT constructive is always good PS I suck at eyes

It will look better in overall if you will finish the base. It always gives finished impression.

To easy paint eyes just put black dot on eyeball and smaller white (for necro maybe yellow) dots in eyes corners.

The eyes on these models are tiny. I generally don't bother painting them at all, or I just suggest them by painting a pseudo-eyelid (you can get away with not doing that as well).

The colours are nice, I like the tones you have used. My only recommendations would be to highlight the skin a little, pick out the teeth and perhaps give him a colour on the shoulderpad. Yellow, maybe?

Oh and I agree, once you finish the model with a base, it really makes it pop.

putting some rust in the cracks on the armor could work as well for making the armor pop better as for the eyes I myself would consider pale pink "whites" so they look bloodshot

Hmm I think it looks better in the flesh but here are some updates. Still needs a little work I feel. Eyes have a pink in but I'm not going to googly eyeball them.

The yellow is staying dirty looking as I think that's more fitting, but might get a bit more chipped.

It doesn't help the poxy camera wants to use the flash on macro

Eisenhorn nothing wrong or out of place with that painted figure it`s great. Any one out there struggling with eyes. try a 0.5 graphic pen available in black, red, etc, good for my age as a cheat makes fine lines a joy.
