As I am rapidly trying to finish up anything on my painting table to make room for my sexy new WZR figures, I finally finished Nick. The wash still looks a little glossy as I haven't gotten to dull-cote him yet (weather has not been cooperative). Also, first attempt at a kilt; turned out better than I thought it would, but couldn't get the shading and highlighting to work on the fabric without doing a number on the pattern.

Really good work, honestly. The kilt looks good, especially for a first time job.

Nice job doompup I think your kilts painted fine, there`s a lot of us myself included hate them. First time gosh thats good !

The kilt looks very nice, especially for a first attempt.

There are some good tutorials on kilts from Privateer Press. I'll check if I can find one online.

Great job on Micheals.I plan on painting mine at some point as well.He shows good with a little tlc.Nice work on the kilt!!
