I like those modes a lot but I am not a big fun of the latest wash You did. There are "stain edges" visible and in my opinion the dirty effect is lost.

Yeah, the wash came out a bit thick there. Which means I just have to do some light tune up one of these days to fix that. :)

Not much time to paint this week, I have worked on all the boots and legs of the Light Infantry/Airborne so most of them are down in base colours and details are on their way.

I did work a lot on one model to have an idea of how they will look in the end. I need to clean him up a bit and add highlights...

Had some more progress on my painting earlier today, I like how the masks came out.

I think a good light wash on these would really do them a service! Looking awesome and I can't wait to see these in batreps! ;)

I pledged 5 sea lions, martian banshees and free marines to this months challenge. It goes rather well except that I realized I had another set of figures put away for the venus theme.

Still two weeks to go and I think I have come halfway. :)

Spent a few hours yesterday and so far today to continue my latest troop pledge. I now have quite a selection of raw materials for my bases and also found that if I glue the miniatures onto the base using super glue before the base glue dries, the super glue dries in a second or two. Also I'm able to make small "foot prints" in the bases where the miniatures stand and now while typing I realize I could actually make trails from boots. I gotta try that!

With all that said, it is now possible to imaging the end results and this is getting my excited! :)

More or less done with these guys now. Free marines got some high lights left as well as some quick fixes on locations I missed, like shading inside inside one of the ears.

:)

Really like how this army is shaping up Pax, I really dig the Venusian theme and I love how you did the camo on the Purple Sharks (dunno if it's because I'm Swedish as well  ) If I may just come with one minor suggestion; I think you should add some white to the blue/red 'shields' on the Sea Lions, you know like red/white stripes and maybe white dots on the blue representing stars. Then do similar markings on the other troops as well. As I said just a suggestion but I think it would add some more detail to the models and tie them together even more.

Other than that keep up the great work!
