Can't find anything to make sense of the Alien Warriors custom HQ points cost. If I want one to be my HQ he/she/it goes from 22 points to 75 and unlike the Marines, it gets no stats buff for the extra points. Is this intentional? Am I being stupid and missing something? |

For Alien faction, there is a trick compare to other factions. When Marines and Predators want to buff their weapon, they are limited by "A [ …] Weapon cost cannot be reduced below the initial cost of the weapon … ". But alien’s close combat weapons don’t have it, so, as I understand it, you can unbuff your weapon and ‘earn’ points to boost your stat. If I am right, for 75 pts you can have a warrior with : M:1 CC : 17 RS : 9 St : 12 Con :13 LD : 19 W : 3 A : 16(12) Warrior claws St : 16 RoA : 6 AV : 0 Stat mod. RS : -1 (-5pts) St : -1 (-5pts) W : +1 (+15pts) A : +1 (+5pts) Weapon mod. RoA : +2 (+20pts) AV : -2 (-30pts) Total: +0 pts |
