I'm much more of a painter than a gamer, and I absolutely love the models shown in the current board game. However, I can't find any details about the upcoming miniatures game version of AvP. I would love to get the board game and create my own 3D board, but I would also like to make my own open terrain like in 40k or something. Does anyone know if the upcoming miniature game will be on a board, or more like other tabletop wargames? I'm trying to decide if I should get the board game now or wait for the next few waves of miniatures.

Welcome to the forum JBar the Wave 2 figure will relate to the board game and the upcoming Wargame rules, when first planed the "story " of the Theseus was the board game and more scenerios could be played right up to the ship crash lands from it`s damage on a "jungle planet" Here would be used the full range.
