Hey all still only planning stages as he will be he final crown jewel of my prey project but here's a mock up using the planned parts of my Gro'tye design.

Link above for non AvP Extinction Players

My research makes me think a Gorrila build with almost a Hippo head structure is what e are looking at?

I might suggest a GW Rat-ogre torso as a starting point. The for-arms and hands might be about right.

Don`t know the beasts size but she`s mostly gorrila build several firms do apes Black cat bases in particular. For the head the teeth do suggest a rat would serve, but if you can find any old dental flose sticks ! I would cut down those and scratch the head small Indian beads for eyes, by the way some of the new sticks make great Predator Staffs. Good look and I look forward to seeing your results.
Cheers mate.

You could consider GW plastic Minotaurs, they have some beefy chests. Pun not intentional!

This build has been lurking between projects but in now gaining momentum. Rat Ogres were to small so I've ended up using a Heresy Miniatures Snow troll body but the head is currently being scratch built out of bits to create a skull frame of sorts before detailing. I've taken WIP pictures and will upload them soon.

He's taking on a slightly different look due to the new frame but I feel captures the AvP Extinction design.

Looking good my friend real good , your "childs" got a nice set of teeth there. I haven`t found an ape yet for my conversion, they are either all too small or too large. It looks as if you chose the best beast to use in Herrisy's snow troll. Cheers all.

As I get closer to a finished Beastie I wanted to check if anyone had any suggestions for me to include on the model that I may have over looked from the original game creature.
