Hi everyone, this will be my first post other than in the player locator!
Thought I'd share this mdf kit I recently bought on ebay.co.uk which arrived well packaged and pre painted to look exactly like the pictures! A great quality kit I highly recommend, it's ideal if you're looking for a quick, simple solution for your game board:
There are tonnes of laser cut mdf products out there of course, particularly Sarissa's System 8 range which has some absolutely perfect Hadleys Hope style buildings. I shall be picking up a few of those at some point: http://www.sarissa-precision.co.uk/store/system8/
I also trawled the web looking for suitable sci-fi shipping containers to complement the kit I bought and here's what I found:
Terrakami http://www.terrakami.com/store/index.php?id_product=24&controller=product&id_lang=1 - Based in Spain I believe, these are for me the best looking and most reasonably priced, despite the high shipping to the UK but they do ship worldwide. I've ordered two sets of each of the large and small "Low Cost" containers, which I'll paint up and emblazon with printed Weyland Yutani logos!
Other alternatives I found were:
SG2 Creations - Canada - http://sg2creations.shawwebspace.ca/blog/posts/2/5/
Plast Craft Games - Spain - http://www.plastcraftgames.com/en/424-sci-fi-big-container.html
Laser Cut Card - South Africa - http://www.lasercutcard.co.za/scenery/shipping_containers/shipping-container-44mm-6pack
Warmill - UK - http://www.valiantwargames.co.uk/index.php/terrain/warmill-sir-crate-x-5.html
Those Warmill containers are fricken awesome but quite pricey and seem to be out of stock everywhere. You can buy direct from them but their online store is closed temporarily at time of writing.
Anyway, hope this is of use to some of you

I've had my eye on the 'System ∞' stuff for a while, but can't spare the cash. Would love to hear feedback on anyone who has given them a try though.
