Hi Guys,
Heres my tips for how I got an effective Saliva Drool effect on my Xenomorph Warrior and Gro'Tye, after a disappointing result with letting water effect apply the drool shape attempt.

Full step by step with pictures can be found here:
https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.1428228210770691.1073741839.1398641063729406&type=3First you need:
Transparent Wire Or String/thread to the size you want the drool (Fishing Wire or Sewing String will work)
Ardcoat /Varnish Paint Pot
Water Effect

First your want thin transparent fishing wire or transparent thread and then stick in the places you want the drool to hang (remember to make it stick so it is angled as gravity would take it or in the direction of force of the model).
Remember to vary lengths for a more realistic look.

Then Add at first a little Ard Coat/Varnish at the end of the thread/wire to thicken the droplets where you want them (as this will dry faster than water effect). Once dry you can add the Water Effect to thicken and complete the look and reapply if needed.

Once dry you should have some pretty great looking saliva strands that take your models to the next stage.

This effect can be adapted for dripping blood (say coming off of a chestburster victim

) by adding in your chosen blood shade (depending on the species of course) or add a tinge of green like I will be for some nice
Acid Spit!I Hope you guys like the effect and hopefully it helps add something to your models.
Thanks!
