Waiting on Prodos AVP to ship like everyone else! And in the meantime,I'm getting a head start on my Marine squads, Aliens and Preds with some old, rebased Horror Clix figures. These Aliens and Preds were larger than 28mm but size up close enough. The Marines are mostly parts from the Mad Robot Miniature's Colonial Defense Force range and look outstanding painted as USCM. I think they'll compliment my Prodos Marines well. The scratch built Sentry Turret is a modified Leading Edge piece from the old Aliens wargame. And the APC is from Galoob's Action Fleet Aliens series that I got a long time ago as a kid. I'm currently working on a motion tracker dude, a commander type and a Sergeant with shotgun(because I forgot to get him with my KS Pledge). I'll post more pics as I keep painting more.

Welcome to the forum Jason, nice bit of nostalgia with the A.P.C and with the "Mad robots." A.P.C s hard as hell to find now, let alone buy, and still looking good, nice paint job love the robo gun.
Cheers all.

Looks good, nice start you have there.

I wish I'd got hold of one of those APCs when I was younger as it just looks awesome and a fun paint.

I know. I've thought about painting it up in movie colors. But part of me wants to keep it original or get another one. I'm also thinking about buying a resin, movie accurate 1/48 APC from a guy's site online. But they're 50 bucks and I might just wait until Prodos maybe comes out with with their own APC.
