Ok, so I'm putting together my forces at the moment, and as me and my friends will start playing at 500-750 points, here is what I've come up with. My aim with this list was to include quite a lot of different units, to allow me to get a feel for them all. We will begin by playing the basic game, so this list is (currently) not optimised for card use, though from what I've seen, it shouldn't be a problem just adding a deck to it. I've opted to use a non-custom warlord to cut down on rules-awkwardness during our early games.

Warlord: Commander Dr. Diana - 175

Troops: 5 Chasseurs - 95
1 SSW5500 RL

Troops: 5 Chasseurs - 95
1 SSW5500 RL

Troops: 5 Armoured Chasseurs - 140
Weapons Overhaul

Support: 5 Mirrormen - 140
5 CSA404, Femoral Enhancement

Support: 1 Attila MK. III - 104
Weapons Overhaul

Total: 749 points

Resources in Basic Game: 7
Resoources in Advanced Game: 10

Cards used: -To be added once a few games are under our belts-

The tactics are straightforward. Dr. Diana will support the Chasseur squads with her Heal and extra A, as well as act as a extra melee deterrent. I'll advance the Mirrormen with the Attila as fire support, and attempt to get the Attila close enough to the enemy to take advantage of UR. The Armoured Chasseurs will act as rapid reinforcements, outflankers or similiar. They are my "wildcard". Thoughts anyone?

Interesting list, lots of elements and a lot of models. Should do well I think. Only thing I'm wondering is how you get 10 Resources with the Advanced Game? Just read the chapter on Resource Cards and the Advanced Game in the book again and I don't see where you get the +3 Resources from. Any info?

When playing advanced game, a Tech Warlord gives 7 Resources. It's in the PDF version of the rules, not sure if it's in the paperback?

It is not, and it amuses me to no end that in the pdf the Basic Game chart is gone instead. So you need both to have a complete overview in your own hands until they release pdf 1.2

So which one is correct then?

**edit**

Aha, I understand now. So both are correct. The table in the book is for the basic game (but it misses the table for advanced games) and the table in the PDF is for the advanced game (but it misses the table for the basic games). Check.

Yep, the EDIT has it right :)

Don't get me started on CC lords having more resources than Tech in advanced games...
