With Imperial release WZR starters seem to follow new standard - no named heroes inside - which I wholly approve. Prodos had already changed Legion and Brotherhood starters and it is obvious that others will join them soon. If you could design our new starter, what would you put inside? I have 3 ideas:
1. Similar to Imperial one I would put 2 no name heroes, [called Liege Lords] to be both Lord/Warlord choices.
2. Similar to Brotherhood one I would put 2 Demon Hunters that like in Inquisitors case would have rules to be Support/Lord/Warlord choices.
3. To make our starter even more different from others I would replace Meka with Kunshu or some other future Monster/Light Vechicle choice.

I'd like to see a generic single hero replace Hiroko, maybe a Blademaster type of mini. That would work well as a Warlord but if enough options are included it could double as a lord/doomtrooper. Maybe the first starter you purchase makes the CC blademaster that you want as your WL, the next one you make into a Ranged or Tech-style lord.

I think that two separately styled Bushido Samurai could be good. One CC version w/ katanas and the other w/ a Power Naginata style weapon. IMHO it would complement the Ronin very well.
DH are my absolute favourite troops overall, but I'm not certain they'd "fit" in the starter though. I have only aesthetical preferences to back this up though ;-)
While the Kunshu are an interesting choice I'm partial to the Meka. Also, having CC troops led by two Bushido Samurai really necessitates some AVV capability (Kunshu has that, but not to the same extent...) It's just a too good and versatile unit to not be in starter. Minor Point is: I'd like to have both weapon options included in the kit though.
