I checked and do not think this has been asked yet.
Under the description for Visage of the Ghostly Light - Brotherhood Dominance Art Power, for a Ranged Warlord second paragraph, second sentence it says " Enemy models cannot claim any cover modifiers against models using 'The Lift of the Ruby Light' Art Power.
There is no such art power. The Errata 1.4 does not rectify the error, and the closest Art Power is the 'Ascent of the Ruby Light'. I can only assume that it was a translation error from one language to another (lift = ascent). Am I correct in my assumption?
If I am wrong, can this be clarified?
Also under aiming action, it mentions about using this action if targeting a Vehicle to select the location rather than rolling for it. Does this mean that you lose the +2 to RS and Strength in order to be able to select the location, or do you still get those bonuses?
If you get them, that is a very powerful ability. My Venusian Rangers with Scout Skill can target a walker vehicle in heavy cover (allowing for the bulky rule), and still only fail on a natural 20. Then I could just simply get each one in turn to target the engines with Critical Damage (2) AVV 7. If it blows up, simply target the next vehicle.
With Camouflage (2) and lots of cover, my 2 x 10 man ranger units have been very hard to kill off and the enemy has to dedicate units like Mortifactors, mass waves of Legionnaires, or similar tactics to either overwhelm them with numbers, drop in very close and close combat them, or use Art powers like Visage of the Ghostly Light from behind a large wall and shoot at my unit which can not see them.
When I face the new Imperials, there will be lots of infiltrating, close combat nightmares, and gas weapons to deal with, but The Rangers are still worth their points value, especially when teamed up with Vorrietiers.
