Great news! I guess they will be airmobile with quick deployment option?

Hi Seven, Wish we could have a couple of beach buggy style machines and light Motor bikes perhaps equipment para drop pods. Still Capitol Rocks.
Cheers all.

Actually drop pods feel to advanced to me. And yes i know they existed in old warzone, still doesn't fit the feel of the setting for me. Or at least make them big bulky cumbersome risky technology which is why they haven't changed the face of warfare entirely.

I could be wrong but I think Airborne is talking about pods for the equipment rather than personnel. Something a bit more advanced than your basic pallet and parachute for bringing in the light vehicles.

I don't think that there'll be drop pods as in WH40K. Too risky and it requires quite a lot of tech that the setting can't have. So maybe you got to get a proper landing of troops with crafts then deploy. Costly undertaking for an invasion force from space.

Rapid Deployment, yes.

Plus some extra little easter eggs. 8-)

Seriously, these guys are one to look forward to in the rulebook. The concept is really fun! :)

I think it's time to start converting some old Helo's into V-TOLs for an all Airborne Infantry Capitol force!
