Hi all,

About a year ago I began work on an AvP project, but between my being a slow worker and some family stuff, it never got that far. This game has inspired me to get some more work done on these models, and whilst the Alien and Marine figures fall outside the bounds of this gallery (they're kitbashes and sculpting work mainly), the two Horrorclix Predators I've got converted/painted up are a nice fit here, and hopefully I'll be posting some better pics of them alongside their clan-mates soon. For now, I've got these pics for you guys:

Very nice they clean up all right, and once rebased fit in well with other minis. Wellcome to the world of Aliens V Predator.
Cheers all.

Seeing the 2nd Predator painted up has made me determined to go up in the attic tomorrow to find my Clix Predator in the same pose for Painting.

Guess once Ive finished some testing I'll be doing a step by step thread for Predators and Aliens :-)

Really love how the silver on that mask has come out.

Thanks guys. The models themselves are pretty rubbish (hence my replacing their spears - the original ones were, ah... flaccid), but until recently they were the best/cheapest option to get some Preds on the go. I agree though, a tabletop paintjob brings out a lot more of the detail than the awful spray-jobs they come with. Hopefully between these guys and a few kitbashed Aliens, I'll be able to get my group into the habit of playing AvP skirmishes in time for the big box being released. ;)

Hey all, got some cool stuff in the works for this thread. No pics today unfortunately, but I've got the rest of my clix Preds on my painting table and have been doing some cool conversions. Updates with pix are inbound soon. :D

Painting really brings these to life. They are a bit more basic than our range, but heck, they do the job to keep you going until the KS delivers. :)

Hi all. Sorry for the delays, I actually got most of this stuff done the weekend I last posted, but have since been stuck renovating a house 6 days a week. I've actually started painting one of these now, and done some additional sculpting on another, but I don't have pics yet. Anyway, without further ado:
